How does it work?

As a From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage patron you will have all of your items picked up at your door and stored for the duration of the summer, and then returned to your new residence upon your return. We will help you through the process - please contact us with any questions via email at ask@fromhere2there.biz. 

How do I pay for this service?

Payment for service must be made in full to From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage upon pick-up. 

Computers, are they okay to store?

Yes. Please store your computer in its original box in order to keep it safe. If you do not have the original box, please pack the computer in a sturdy box very securely.

Are the storage facilities climate-controlled?

Yes. Climate-controlled storage means that your boxes will remain in an environment with a safe temperature and that is properly ventilated in the summer months. The storage facility is not air-conditioned.

Are there storage restrictions for belongings?

Yes. Items such as firearms, jewelry, cash, perishables, and liquids cannot be stored. Upon storage, you agree that your boxes do not contain these restricted items.

Do you offer shipping?

No.  At this time From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage does not offer shipping. 

Where are the storage facilities?

From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage uses a local secure storage facility that meet the needs of your belongings.

Can I access my belongings before the delivery date?

No. Once your belongings have been picked-up by From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage, you will not be able to access them until your belongings are delivered back to you. 

Can you pick up and deliver to off-campus locations?

Yes. Please contact From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage management for further details.

Do I need to be present during pick-up or drop-off?

Yes.  You must be present during pick-up and drop-off as your signature is required to confirm the quantity of boxes and items that From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage picks-up and delivers.

I don’t know where I am going to live in the fall. Is this a problem?

No. Simply contact us with delivery information once it becomes available.

Are items insured?

Yes. From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage is fully bonded and insured.  We provide our patrons with $100 of complimentary insurance. Additional insurance is available in increments of $100. Each box may be insured for up to $1,000.

What forms of payment do you require?

We require cash or money orders upon pick-up for summer storage.  Full payment by credit card can be made online through Pay Pal. 

Can I cancel my service?

Yes. You must contact From Here 2 There Dorm Moving and Storage Management – fees will apply.

What if I want to store something that isn't on your list of products?

Contact us and we will be happy to work something out for you.

Can I store my stuff past summer? What are the costs associated with this?

We would be happy to store your belongings through summer and next semester, or even longer! Please contact us to organize the specifics - we will be happy to help.
